territory, this double-labeling procedure revealed a substantial
number of GABAergic projection neurons in
all parts of the lateral and interposed cerebellar nuclei,
the ventrolateral regions of the medial cerebellar nucleus,
and the dorsal aspect of the lateral vestibular nucleus
(Fig. 4 B-D). The distribution of double-labeled neurons
corresponded exactly to the distribution of cerebelloolivary
